Jason Gribbin has been surrounded equally by home improvement and cosmetology his whole life, growing up with parents in the hands-on and creative worlds. Since 1999 when he began his career as a hairstylist, he has always had an exceptional eye for detail and design. He was first bit by the home improvement bug in 2001 assisting on outdoor decking, patios, and basement remodels as a fun side project which grew into a passion for kitchen remodels, flooring, custom trim work and more by 2015. In 2016 he solely remodeled and outfitted Define Hair's first salon loft space then again acted as general contractor and lead builder for their 4600 sq. ft. expansion in 2019 and their 2500 sq. ft addition in 2021. The design and buildout of the salon space was nominated for Top Salon of the Year in 2020 by Salon Today magazine. Since then, Jason has worked on countless other residential and commercial projects such as pool cabanas, kitchen and bath remodels, basement renovations and in-law suites, and custom trim and moldings and turned a passion into a growing career.
As a general contractor and designer, his goal is to provide his clients with not simply a proposal, but a vision to see their desired project come into reality. From preparing CAD and 3D renderings, hands-in build out and project management, to the final finish he is there to guide Define's clients through every step of their dream project.

Rachel Gribbin grew up in the construction industry, watching her father develop both commercial and residential construction & design from the early 80’s. She holds a B.A. from Towson University in secondary education and facilitation and made her transition into the salon and spa industry in 2003. Rachel began her foundation as a salon director and held positions in medi spa and fitness management, before founding Define Hair & Skin in 2016.
Rachel has always had a passion for both residential and commercial decorating from her first home build in 2005 to her latest remodel in 2023. She did the joint design and sole decorating for Define Hair’s original loft space, their 4600 sq. ft. expansion in 2019, and their 2500 sq. ft addition in 2021. As a salon and spa owner, Rachel has a deep understanding of both residential and commercial aesthetics with great functionality. She works one-on-one with clients to consider every detail of design and show how simple things like flow, finishes and hardware can impact a project in a big way. On the commercial side, her goal is to create a space that is not just gorgeous, but maximizes square footage, encourages sales opportunities, and allows flexibility for the business’ growth.
